This map depicts the locations of approximately 87,000 registered AstronomyDaily.com users as of 10 May 2004.

Apparently, some users randomly click locations on the registration map -- explaining those that are floating in the Arctic Ocean or marooned in central Greenland. There is also a noticable vertical line off the coast of Portugul that represents the Greenwich meridian (0° longitude).
